Boat Parade Schedule of Events 2012

Saturday, July 7th, 2011

Now in its eighth year, we celebrate the Independence Day Weekend in Monticello, Indiana by filling the Madam Carroll with military veterans to lead the long line of over 60 decorated boats. Homes along the eight mile Lake Freeman route display the colors. Then it is on to what this holiday is all about in small town America with hot dogs, free watermelon and ice cream in the city park. This celebration with fun, food and free games for the entire family draws more than 1,000.
