7th ANNUAL HONOR OUR MILITARYPATRIOTIC BOAT PARADE & CELEBRATION IN THE PARK
MONTICELLO, INDIANA JULY 2, 2010
Boaters - Decorate your boat in patriotic colors or just join in (decoration not required) with the more than 60 boats to follow the Madam Carroll loaded with our military heroes. Our Cold War Veterans will serve as the 2011 parade grand marshals.
Trophies and prizes for best in class - pontoon, speed boat, sail boat, small boat (under 12 ft.) and antique boat.
Grand Prizes - Scholarships in winners names to Twin Lakes high school student based on an essay contest.
Freeman Homeowners - decorate your dock, display the stars and stripes.
Schedule For Day:
10:00 a.m. Boats gather near Oakdale Dam for judging
10:45 a.m. Line up behind Madam Carroll
11:00 a.m. Begin procession to Tioga Bridge
12:20 p.m. Parade passes in Review—Sportsman Inn
1:00 p.m. Celebration in the Park begins
2:00 p.m. Boat Parade awards presented in the Park
